Welcome to the first blog posting from the Transportation Team, Transportation and Infrastructure, Aberdeenshire Council.
We aim to use this blog to add to the content available on our sustainable travel You Tube channel. www.youtube.com/aberdeenshiretp
This is the first time Aberdeenshire Council have attempted to use You Tube and a blog to promote work it is doing.

We'll use the blog to post news about the Transportation Team, work we do and some examples of the benefits available to those people who change their method of travelling.

It's very important to understand that we are not anti-car!

Hopefully you will find the information within this blog interesting. The clips on You Tube will show a variety of things. Some videos will be about residents who car share or cycle etc. Some videos will be about projects the Council has delivered as part of developing a Modern Transport System and some videos will be entertaining, educational or inspiring.

We are also keen that residents get in touch and tell us what they think. You can do this by emailing us at transportation@aberdeenshire.gov.uk or by messaging us on the You Tube channel. You might even wish to get in touch by sending a video in yourself.
